Dr. Sid is known for creating magical sounds back in the days and he did so again on the Don Jazzy assisted single, “Surulere”, an evergreen classic released on the 13th of November 2013.
“Surulere”, meaning patience is a virtue, is a slow tempo song about triumphing over odds and a joyous countering of one’s naysayers. His smart writing was also evident in the song, maintaining the same rhyme pattern throughout the verses.
Don Jazzy who also produced the classic tune did his bit on the chorus of “Surulere” as both of them advise the listener to choose patience overall.
