Wizkid aka Starboy recently released a new body of work titled SoundMan Vol. 1 The EP, as we previously reported.
There was no prior notice as to the proposed release date or what to expect. Wizkid, unexpectedly, just dropped the E.P., which features a couple of producers and just in time for Christmas Jamz.

However, we know that WizKid had promised his fans he would drop a body of work before 2019 eclipses and he has delivered on his promise.
The surprise EP was released 6:00 a.m. on the 6th of December 2019 with different download links to various streaming platforms where songs on the project can be listened to.

Wizkid also announced that Volume 2 will be out soon, which will be followed by his next album, MIL. MIL is an acronym for Made in Lagos and will Wizkid’s fourth studio album.
Wizkid’s debut album was Superstar released in 2011 under EME label. His second studio album titled Ayo was also released under EME label in 2014, while Wizkid’s third studio album titled Sounds from the other side was released in 2017.
Also, Wizkid was one of the 10 artists that are featured in CNN’s 2019 list of African’s biggest musician.
