Super talented music producer, Krizbeatz, who has managed to assemble the entire continent on his project spanning over a year, has now dropped his highly anticipated album titled “African Time”. The album was released on the 17th of July 2020.
The “African Time” album is a project that reconciles tensions of African unity and the erasure of homogeneity born out of his zeal to make beats that synchronise dance music with traditional African elements.
Krizbeatz believes the time has come to bridge the divide amongst Africans through the arts, culture and, importantly, through our music.
He says: “the time has come to showcase the vibrancy of our culture while taking ownership of its narratives.”
The album is a 14-track project that features artists such as award-winning East-African singer, Diamond Platnumz, as well as Vanessa Mdee, Nandy, and Ray Vanny.
Nigeria’s Mr Eazi, Reekado Banks, Teni, Tekno, Yemi Alade, and Ghana’s Samini and Fuse ODG also make appearances on the album.
