Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born soundtrack is officially spending its third consecutive week at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200.
A Star is Born is the first soundtrack to spend its first three weeks consecutively at #1 in more than 10 years. The last movie to achieve this was Disney’s High School Musical 2, which hit #1 for 4 weeks consecutively (Sept. 1-Sept. 22, 2007)
The album moved 109,000 equivalent album units in its third week, of which 61,000 were traditional album sales.
Other albums that made it to the top 5 this week are: WRLD on Drugs – Future and Juice WRLD (98,000 units) at #2, Anthem of the Peaceful Army – Greta Van Fleet (87,000 units) at #3, Evolution – Disturbed (71,000 units), Tha Carter V – Lil Wayne (65,000 units) at #4 and Drip Harder – Lil Baby and Gunna (56,000 units) at #5
