On Tuesday, Shazam Inc., which is an Apple-owned application that is used to identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows announced that the song is the most searched on the app.

The gospel-influenced house song which features vocals from South African vocalist Nomcebo was initially released on 29 November 2019 after attracting considerable interest online.
It took over airwaves all over the world, making an appearance at parties before the emergence of Coronavirus restricted it to majorly music playlists.
The music video was released on 21 December. The song was later included in Master KG’s second album of the same name, which was released in January 2020.
In the middle of 2020, the song went viral and birthed the #JerusalemaChallenge which saw entries from several countries including Italy, Spain, France, Jamaica and Canada.
On 19 June 2020, a remix featuring Burna Boy was released and this shot the song up to the American Billboard charts.
