Sergio Aguero has said that he is self-isolating after his coronavirus test returns a positive result.
The Manchester City striker was identified as a close contact of another confirmed case and has been self-isolating ever since.

However, the Argentine has revealed he too has tested positive.
The 32-year-old tweeted: “After a close contact, I’ve been self-isolating and the latest test I took was positive for Covid-19.
“I had some symptoms and I’m following doctor’s orders for recovery. Take care, everyone!”
This comes as yet another big setback for Man City’s record goalscorer, who has only started three matches this season.
Aguero underwent knee surgery in June and as a result, missed the end of the last term and the start of the current campaign.
In October, his return to action was further complicated by a hamstring injury and he later experienced further discomfort in his knee.
Having starred in a series of substitute roles, Aguero had been due to return to the starting line-up in City’s FA Cup third-round tie against Birmingham earlier this month but was then told to isolate.
His unavailability for the last four games has been for this reason while the latest news means he will be out of action a while longer yet.
He is also one of a number of positive coronavirus cases at Manchester City since Christmas. Kyle Walker, Gabriel Jesus, Ederson, and Ferran Torres are among the senior players also to have been forced to isolate in recent weeks.
It’s a bit surprising K Aguero reported symptoms. Most footballers had said they didn’t have symptoms. Hopefully, he will beat it. He is young and strong.
