The Pembrokeshire Murders is a new drama series showing on UK broadcaster ITV and lead actor Luke Evans has stolen the hearts of fans with his good looks.
Pembrokeshire Murders started airing on Monday, 12 January 2021, and is currently topping Google Trends in the United Kingdom. The reason is not far-fetched; fans are gushing over Welsh actor Luke Evans.
Deadline, a media house that publishes news about the international entertainment industry is already calling it the best new ITV of the last five years. The streaming numbers from its debut episode is impressing the company’s stakeholders.
Pembrokeshire Murders is a true-crime drama that comes as a three-part series. It depicts the events which led to the convicting John Cooper, a cold-blooded serial killer.
It is an adaptation of Steve Wilkins’ Catching the Bullseye Killer. ITV news journalist Jonathan Hill co-wrote the TV adaptation. The book gives the chilling account of the cold case investigation popularly known as ‘Operation Ottawa’.

Luke Evans plays the role of Senior Investigating Officer Steve Wilkins who handled the case. Evans became popular after playing the Greek god Apollo in the 2010 remake “Clash of the Titans”.
He also played the Musketeer Aramis in Paul W. S. Anderson’s version of “The Three Musketeers” in 2011. The Welsh actor was Owen Shaw in “Furious 6” and Dracula in the film “Dracula Untold”.
