Super Eagles and Manchester City FC player, Kelechi Iheanocho is facing legal problems in the US after allegations were made against him that he may have misled a court in Pennsylvania. If found guilty he could be sentenced up to two years in prison, The Sun UK reports.
Iheanocho had earlier filed a document with a Pennsylvanian court, in which he claimed not to know or have spent time with Henry Galeano, a company’s registered Fifa-licensed that represents Eleven Management. He also claimed that he believed Galeano was an alias used by First Eleven Management co-owner Robert Zanicky. Galeano in his turn claims to be Iheanacho’s former agent and has submitted an affidavit to the court saying him and Iheanacho spent “hundreds of hours” together.
However, photographs have surfaced showing the footballer that seem to refute those claims.
Galeano is pictured by Iheanocho’s side as he signed a new Manchester City contract shortly after his 18th birthday in October 2014. Other photos show Iheanacho seemingly having fun with Galeano and Zanicky in a restaurant as well as at a theme park.
