Clayton Cook from Ontario, Canada, has made headlines after photographer Hatt caught him in the moment he lifted the dripping wet child and dropped him on the ground by the water.
Dressed in his suit and taking photos with his wife Brittany accompanied by their photographer, Clayton had noticed the group of three playing earlier but after sometime, they reduced to two, he had explained to CTV Kitchener:
“I looked over as Brittany was doing some solo shots and I only saw two kids –there were three- I thought I had to double check to make sure everything was okay and sure enough, once I got over there I saw the third child in the water and he was fighting quite hard to stay afloat”.
He had wasted no time in jumping into the water and rescued the child immediately.
Even his new bride had been surprised when she saw him walking away from the shoot but when she saw him rescuing the child, she was proud of him.
The photographer Hatt had told Kitchener that it added to the beauty of the wedding photoshoot.
“You’re always about capturing the story and this is just part of the story they will remember … this will definitely be something they remember for years.”
The boy later returned to his family safely while Clayton Cook had to return with Brittany Cook to their reception, dripping.
