Like we experienced in the just concluded season seven of the show, two episodes were leaked well ahead of the airing date and although it only piqued interests and didn’t affect the viewing rates on the day scheduled for the airing, producers D.B Weiss and David Benioff have concluded to find a way around the hackers and over excited viewers.
In a statement attributed to the president of HBO (that airs the show) Casey Bloys, he was quoted as saying:
“I know in Game of Thrones ending they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. You have to do that on a long show because, when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end”.
With the imminent reunion of Jon and Arya and the revelations of Bran, fans can hardly wait for the final season and it has been announced that shooting of the eight episode season would begin in October, with the White Walkers past The Wall and Jamie’s ride up North in defiance of Cersei, emotions are high on the show and the upcoming season cannot come too soon.
