Nigeria Police insists Clarence Peters is still in detention

The Lagos State Police Command has insisted that video director, Clarence Peters, was still in its custody over the death of dancer, Picture Kodak.

Popular video director, Clarence Peters, was allegedly detained by the Lagos State Police Command for questioning over the alleged murder of dancer Love Divine, popularly known as  Picture Kodak.

The video vixen reportedly died in the late hours of Wednesday, 29 April 2020, while charging her phone at the video director’s house. She was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Omole Estate but was confirmed dead 30 minutes later.

However, Mr Peters and his long time girlfriend took to their social media accounts to debunk the news.

Speaking with Premium Times, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Bala Elkana, said that Clarence Peters was still in their custody as they investigate Kodak’s death.

He says: “My response has been clear. Do we have him in custody, I say we do. Why do you have him in custody? We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the dancer.

We are also waiting for the autopsy result. An investigation is a natural cause. It is important for him and it is also good for any other person who was there. If nobody has a hand in it, the report will clear everybody. If the result says it is a murder case, the law will take its cause. That is exactly why we have him, that is exactly what we are doing.
