Chelsea has reportedly reached an agreement concerning estranged striker Diego Costa.
It came as a bit of surprise when reports made news that Costa had received a message from the Chelsea’s head coach that he would not be part of the squad because he had been a phenomenal part of their Premier League title victory and true to his character the Spaniard threw caution to the wind and the relationship between him and the club has become too strained with details always shady.
However, a return to Spain to join the Atletico Madrid where he had made a name before he had left for England in 2014 have been surfacing in football gossips and Chelsea have through their official site stated today that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
The deal is still left open pending when the striker’s personal terms are met and cannot be completed until January when the transfer ban on Atletico Madrid will be lifted.
Diego Costa has been reported to have left his home in England and has been staying with his parents in Brazil since the beginning of the season and has not cropped up on paper for the Chelsea team, but it is important to know that he is still a Chelsea player as he is still contract bound.
