Following the success of Living in Bondage, Okpaleke has acquired the rights to the classic and is planning to remake the film for modern filmgoers to enjoy.
Glamour Girls is the story about a village girl who was influenced by her friend to get a job in Lagos so as to live a better life.
According to BellaNaija, Okpaleke acquired the rights under the media arm of Play Network Africa, where is a co-founder.
Charles Okpaleke also owns the rights to the Nollywood blockbuster movie, Living in Bondage. Living in Bondage has grossed 140 million in cinemas and is still showing.
It has also enjoyed glowing reviews from actors and moviegoers who have thoroughly enjoyed the film.
Living in Bondage marked Charles Okpaleke’s debut into Nollywood as an executive producer, and we can’t wait to see what he does with Glamour Girls.
