Wizkid, whose real name is Balogun Ayodeji, has shown appreciation to two men who were key to his fame and the explosion of his musical career – Banky W and Tunde Demuren
He posted an image of both men on his Instagram handle, saying that these men changed his life forever.
“Thank you to these guys for changing my life! @bankywellington @captdemuren EME,” writes Wizkid on social media.
In 2009, Wizzy was signed onto the record label Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). His hit song “Holla at you boy” propelled him into fame, winning awards and leading to several features and collaborations with local and international acts.
“Made In Lagos” is the latest album he is currently working on releasing. The release date for the album is 15 October 2020 and his fans are beyond giddy with excitement.
Looking back, and seeing how far he has come, Wizkid recalled the chance taken on him by these men, as he expresesed gratitude.
