During their trip, the royal couple met with flying doctors and drought-stricken farmers. While Harry delivered a speech, it began raining, and his wife Meghan Markle stepped in to shield him from the pouring rain.
When the local mayor offered Prince Harry his umbrella, Harry smiled and said: “It’s all right, I’ve got my wife.”
The tender moment was caught on video and has royal fans gushing over it online.
Harry’s speech came after a community BBQ where guests got to try a loaf of banana bread baked by Meghan Markle in the kitchen at Admiralty House, Sydney, before flying to Dubbo.
In Dubbo, the royal couple were mobbed by excited school children at Dubbo Senior College, which specialises in improving the educational outcomes of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
