Tuface has made a reputation for himself as a man who stands for the people.
The ‘Amaka’ singer started the ‘Enough is Enough’ protest in 2017 to fight corruption that plagued the country but he pulled out of the planned protest, citing security concerns.
In an interview with Qed.ng, Charly Boy revealed his admiration for Tuface, calling him a beautiful singer and entertainer who doesn’t have what it takes to be an activist.
When he was asked if he was annoyed when the ‘African Queen’ singer pulled out of the ‘Enough is Enough’ protest, Charly Boy said, “I was not angry per se, I was a little disappointed. I got in touch with his manager who said that they would come to see me.
“Tuface is a beautiful singer and entertainer but he doesn’t have the baggage like the attitude, qualities and ways that comes with being an activist.
“I know Tuface as a good musician but not as an activist. I was a little disappointed he backed out but then again for whatever reason I respect that because we all can’t be the same kind of people.”
