The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that 12 new cases of the Coroadnavirus have been discovered in Nigeria with the total number of cases in the country rising to 151.
According to the NCDC, the new cases were discovered in Ekiti (1), Edo (2) and Osun (9) states.

Taking to their Twitter account, the NCDC made the announcement stating:
“Twelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State.
“As at 12:30 pm 1st April there are 151 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.”

The NCDC also published a breakdown of the confirmed cases across the states. According to the data, Coronavirus cases have been recorded in 11 of the 36 states plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Lagos state remains the state with that is most hits with 82 Covid-19 cases. Abuja comes a distant second with 28 cases and Osun third with 14 cases.
