The authority had insinuated via a statement that the singer was lying for publicly claiming that her luggage and that of co-passengers were stolen on a local airport runway on 26 December 2017.
Well, FAAN’s statement seems to have some logic to it to us laymen but that is not to say that the singer was lying about missing luggage. Maybe it happened not on the runway, but it seems to have happened somewhere between check-in and collection at the end of the short flight. So, basically, we think it’s a question of miscommunication. Both parties we think should best sit down and talk things out.
But Tiwa isn’t taking that lying low, FAAN’s statement has all but called her a liar. She was clearly enraged/scandalised/offended/shocked/infuriated/disgusted by such a suggestion. In a series Snapchat messages, Tiwa made it known she ain’t “some celebrity making noise.” She says:
