The third forum took place in Lagos and it was a trending topic over the weekend as many young entrepreneurs or would-be entrepreneurs expressed their delight.
It attracted a strong audience as it is said to be one of the largest gathering of entrepreneurs in Africa, the forum was hosted by the foundation that was created by the philanthropist when he resigned from the board of the United Bank of Africa back in 2010.
He himself delivered the keynote address that touches on the need for innovative young entrepreneurs to be encouraged as they had it in them the capacity to bring about the much needed development in Africa and the creation of the jobs that the future generations will need. Tony Elumelu also thanked other partners that supported the forum which includes the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); and TEF and the Agence Française De Développement (AFD).
The Vice-President of Nigeria too, Yemi Osibanjo also cemented the faith in the younger generation and said that the talent they have exhibited showed that there is indeed hope for a well working Africa.
