The Frenchman seem unable to get over the 3-1 loss to Manchester City and took to the media immediately after the match to say that City’s second goal that came via a penalty taken by Sergio Aguero should never have happened had the referee seen that Sterling dived in the build up to the goal.
“We know that Sterling dives well” he had said.
But many football pundits including premier league legend Alan Shearer have come out to say the penalty decision was a right one and the manager should offer an apology to the winger.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has refrained from commenting yet but sources reveal that the Spaniard is seething with anger.
Arsene Wenger also went ahead to say that the third goal should have been an offside, saying the match officials were not working enough.
Earlier today however with no statement of apology from Wenger, it was hinted that the FA may take legal action against the coach for trying to slander the player, but as at the time of this report, Sky Sports sources revealed that the Football Association are making no move against him.
He always has an excuse. Someone please tell him to grow a pair
