Son Heung-Min Wins Asian Player Of The Year.

Son Heung-Min finished ahead of Huddersfield’s Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa from Japan.

 

The South Korean international finished at the top of a three-man shortlist reserved for Asians who play overseas. He has been instrumental at the North London club, Tottenham where he plies his trade. He also played an important role South Korea national team and assisted to move them into the group stages of the World Cup holding next year in Russia.

The 25-year-old has notched 33 goals for Tottenham despite coming in most of the times as a substitute. He also won the Asian footballer of the year award in 2015.
