Suzie Hardy first accused Seacrest who is also the American Idol host of sexual harassment last November. Seacrest denied the allegations and said he would cooperate with an investigation. He was also the first to make the allegation public. At the time of the claim, E! promptly launched a full probe of the matter. The investigation said it found “insufficient evidence to support the claims against Seacrest.”
Since then, more details of the alleged harassment has come to light. Hardy, on Monday, told Variety that Seacrest started sexually harassing her soon after she landed a job as his personal stylist at E! News in 2006. The single mother said she endured the unwanted, sexually aggressive touching, groping and attention for fear of losing her job. In 2013, Hardy said she reported the alleged abuse to the human resources department, and subsequently lost her employment. Sounds damning, doesn’t it?
