Recall that Sidomex Entertainment reported that Seyitan took to Twitter to accuse D’banj of raping her at a Lagos hotel in 2018. D’banj denied the allegations and then a long journey began for them both.
D’banj released a statement revealing that he had contacted his lawyers and he demanded compensation from Seyitan alongside a public apology from Seyitan.
Reports, however, came up that D’banj was harassing Seyitan and unlawfully detained her. This news sent Twitter into a meltdown as many people attacked the singer, especially after a tweet promoting D’banj’s music was shared on Seyitan’s Twitter account.
After that, D’banj then sued Seyitan for 1.5 billion Naira in damages.
Now, the case seems to be over and Seyitan is saying that she wants her peace amidst the whole issue.
