Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah has reacted after a graphics designer called him out for unpaid services rendered during the production of Living in Bondage: Breaking Free. According to the popular actor, it was all due to “miscommunication”.
Recall that a graphics designer identified as Louisa Jlo claimed that she was contracted to work on designs to be used for the Ramsey Nouah’s Living in Bondage movie. Sadly, the media director who contracted her later told her that he was fired and that the project would not be using her work.
However, almost two years after, the graphic designer found out that her designs were actually used in the movie. She then took to Twitter to call out the actor for not paying for her services.

Taking to his official Instagram page, Ramsey shared screenshots of the designer’s tweets and said that he woke up to see the news trending on social media.
Ramsey also used the opportunity to share the photo of a fraudulent page posing as him, urging people to stay away from such accounts.

Meanwhile, Louis has tweeted again, stating that the misunderstanding between her and the veteran actor has been resolved.
According to her, she did not mean to indict anybody with her tweets. She noted that she just wanted to sensitise people about the issue.
The graphics designer also stated that she didn’t have direct contact with Ramsey or the crew, which was why she used social media, noting that she even tagged the wrong handle.
UPDATE Twitter, I made that thread not to indict anybody but to sensitize about the issue and I am grateful that everyone was supportive to me. I didn’t have a direct contact to Ramsey or the crew that is why I used social media. You can see I even tagged the wrong handle.

My noise together with your retweets got them to know and they have contacted me. They didn’t know but now they do and have acted accordingly. I have been compensated. I am still proud to have worked on the movie and hope for future possibilities.

Thank you so much to everyone who have helped me with this. Thank you @HenshawKate I really don’t know everyone’s handles but I am utterly grateful.
