‘Na man you be’ – Why Omotola is gushing over Capt Mathew Ekende

Husband of veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Capt. Matthew Ekeinde, flew abroad in a private jet to bring back his children to Nigeria after they got stranded due to COVID-19.

The actress took to her Instagram page to disclose how his husband had to fly a private jet abroad to evacuate her stranded children back home.

She has described her husband as a superhero, writing, “na man you be.

The children of the actress Omotola and her husband Matthew were stranded abroad following the closure of international borders due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Omotola revealed that all their efforts to bring back their children proved futile hence her husband had no choice than to fly a private jet to evacuate them back to Nigeria.

She writes (lightly edited for clarity): “Thank you, Lord. My babies are home!

When all else fails and your dad has to fly a PJ [private jet] to come get you himself!

Capt Matthew Ekeinde! Na man you be. This is to appreciate you for being such a superhero.

Thank you, Lord, for journey mercies and thanks to everyone that assisted to make this happen.”
