As reported by Deadline, Omari Hardwick has secured yet another Netflix gig. This is coming barely a month after the release of his latest Netflix feature, Army of the Dead.
While it is still unclear what role he will be playing, Hardwick is now set to star alongside Oscar winner Halle Berry in the upcoming Netflix movie, The Mothership.
The Sci-Fi drama flick follows the story of Sara Mose (Halle Berry), a woman who has to navigate her life following the disappearance of her husband from their farmland the previous year. She soon discovers an extraterrestrial object under her home. Sara and her children race against time to find out just what the link is between this object and the disappearance of the head of their family.

The film which also stars John Ortiz and Molly Parker will be executive produced by Benny and Danny Stillman. It is scripted and will be directed by Oscar-nominated screenwriter, Matthew Charman.
Though Omari is yet to make any comments about this new role, he is expected to fit right into itit. The actor has shown his versatility over the years across different roles. He is known mostly for his role as James St. Patrick in the Starz series, Power, where he played the lead character. He also did exceptionally in his role as Vanderohe in Zach Snyder’s Army of the Dead.
