The actress is presumed dead after going missing during a swimming trip with her son on 8 July. After she was reported missing, her son said that she jumped into the water but did not come back up.
Now, the police have announced that a body has been found at the lake in California. The body has not been identified but the police will hold a press conference at the lake later on Monday, 13 July.
“Happening now: A body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress. A news conference will take place at 2 pm at the lake,” the department wrote Monday on Twitter.

Last Wednesday, Naya Rivera and her four-year-old son rented a boat that they took out to Lake Piru in California. Police officers found her son floating alone on the boat.
Since then, several recovery efforts have been underway including divers, searchers and law enforcement agents.
