She has such a unique perspective and we’re so excited to hear her ideas for new content that our Prime Video customers are sure to love.”
Since her 2019 debut on the big stage into the music scene, Lizzo has earned herself a number of accolades, including winning three Grammy Awards in 2020, for Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Truth Hurts,’ Best Traditional R&B Performance for ‘Jerome,’ and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You.
With this partnership, she joins a number of singers and actors with similar deals with Amazon. Some of these creatives include Viola Davis, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino and star Rachel Brosnahan, Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sharon Horgan, Daniel Dae Kim and Brad Pitt, among others.
