Arizona promoter Nicholas Fitts entered into a contractual agreement with the 21-year-old Florida native for him to perform at a New York venue on 3 March 2017.
When the rapper didn’t show up, Fitts rescheduled a make-good for the following month in April and he neglected to show up for that concert as well.
A third date was consequently reset based on full-faith that the controversial star would come through, but Fitts was let down once again because Black didn’t fulfill his obligations for that show either.
Fitts claims his reputation as a promoter has been tarnished as a result and he spent a lot of money on venue rentals and marketing.
Legal docs also say Fitts “suffered a loss of ticket revenue, directly resulting from Kodak Black’s refusal to fulfil his contractual obligations under the terms of the Agreements, totalling more than $500,000.00, including reimbursement of funds from ticket presales.”
Fitts is demanding $500,000 in damages.
