On Tuesday, 14 July, Steve Kramer, a member of Kanye West’s campaign team told Intelligencer that Kanye West had called off his presidential ambition.
“He’s out,” Kramer said, telling the publication that he was in the process of cancelling all the efforts of the more than 180 campaign team working to put his name on the ballots in Florida.
He later added: “I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye… Any candidate running for president for the first time goes through these hiccups.”
This report is coming only a few days after a poll said that Kanye West would gain less than two percent of the total votes if he runs against Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
On 4 July, Kanye West took to Twitter to announce that he would be running for president. He wrote:
“We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States.”
His wife, Kim Kardashian endorsed the message by quote-tweeting with an American flag. A few days later though, family members said he was in the middle of a bipolar episode.
His only trying to call more attention….
We been knew. It was all a stunt.
