After his tweet, Kanye faced numerous backlash on social media and this probably prompted the 41-year-old rapper to remove his presence online on Saturday at around 1:45 PM Pacific Time (5:45 am Nigeria Time).
Kanye has made the drastic move of deleting his Twitter and Instagram accounts ahead of his upcoming album.
This is not the first time Kanye is going off social media. Back in May 2017, Kanye deleted his accounts and did not come back until earlier this year.
