While most people believe that Big Brother Naija brings you a lot of notoriety that converts to cash, it appears that the price for fame is much steeper than we think.
During an interaction with a follower on Instagram, Big Brother Nigeria reality TV star, Ike Onyema, who was a housemate on the 2019 show, BBNaija Pepper Dem, revealed that he was richer before the show.
Ike shared a picture on his Instagram page as usual, when a follower commented: “But bro no lies ooo, Big Brother Naija help your life ooo if not for Big Brother Naija na ganster you for be for US or Nigeria here.. Bless God no go shame us”
Ike, who has signed a number of endorsements with major brands and launched brands of his own replied the follower by saying:
“Boy before Big Brother Naija, my account was larger. Fame no be cheap oo”
He went further to say: “No go sleep on top bicycle oooohhhh”
