Recall that last Sunday was the traditional marriage of Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi and singer Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W.
It was billed as the celebrity wedding of the year and boasted the crème de la crème of Nigeria celebrities. One of the guests at that event was media personality Ebuka who attended wearing what we have now learnt to be a “deconstructed agbada” according to fashion designer Sly Ayoola Monay.
Monay uploaded a collage of Ebuka and his models to highlight the similarity of his design and Ebuka’s attire in a post he captioned:
“It’s good to know that the Deconstructed agbada concept which originated from the Sly Monay 2016 Collection showcased at the AFWL last year has finally gained credence.”
He also followed the post with a video of the runway where the style was unveiled in London.
