After the news of their deaths became public, the world was thrown into mourning with celebrities, fans, and friends of the Bryant family all over the world paying tribute to the people who died.
His former teammates were among those who paid tribute to Bryant, including James who recently passed Bryant’s all-time scoring record.
Following his death, James was seen crying on the tarmac after alighting from a plane. He also took to his Instagram page to share a very touching tribute to Bryant and his daughter.
“Man I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying again just thinking about you, niece Gigi and the friendship/bond/brotherhood we had!
“I literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA. Didn’t think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we’d have. WTF!! I’m heartbroken and devastated my brother!! (four crying faces and a broken heart). Man I love you big bro,” he wrote in part.
Now, Lebron James has shared another tribute to Bryant, this time in ink and on his thigh. The basketball star inked an image of a black Mamba, the nickname Bryant was fondly called.
He also has the words “Mamba for life” tattooed underneath the picture.
During his training at the Lakers facility in El Segundo, he raised his shorts and allowed photographers to take pictures of the tattoo.
See the photos of the tattoo below:
