Take a moment to appreciate this work of edible art – it is Bobrisky’s birthday cake that is hopefully destined to be someone’s else wedding cake.
What would have been a delicious sharing of sweetness between Bobrisky and his wellwishers did not see the light of the day after the Nigerian police stormed the venue of the party for the cross-dresser’s 28 birthday bash and scattered the guests. Rumour even has it that some arrests were made.
The police say their action was based on credible information and that the party “may likely cause a breach of public peace.” So they dispersed the guests gathered at the Lekki and Victoria Island of Bobrisky’s party. The aftermaths were wasted food and efforts, amongst them these beautiful creations that Bobrisky say he would be giving away to a couple getting married this weekend.
“This was supposed to be my birthday cake for my birthday last night before it was cancelled for no reason. Like I used to say, my heart is filled with gold but many haters are just looking for my downfall, lol.
“If you are getting married this weekend, please come and have have this cake.
“I repeat, no amount of hate will change who I am… I will preserve the cake in my freezer at home, so don’t nee bothered about spoiling.”
In a follow-up post, Bobrisky also shared a second photo of cake for his botched birthday party, which he says is also available (presumably as a giveaway).
“These are also available too… They are part of my birthday cake. Yesterday would have been my dream day cos have been dreaming to throw a multimillionaire party but say everything came this way. Let’s thank God for life.”
The idea to give away the cakes to a struggling couple getting married may have come from Bobrisky’s BFF, actress Tonto Dikeh, who shared a picture of the cakes on Instagram with the caption:
“A yoooo My Gee @bobrisky222
“We go s--t tire because this cake most finish OR YOU DONATE IT TO A COUPLE WHO CAN’T AFFORD ANY AND IS MARRYING THIS WEEK (I can imagine how happy they will be).”

Meanwhile, fashion stylist Pearl Chidinma Ogbulu, who goes by the Instagram name LAPEARLNYC, responded to Tontolet’s post and said she would donate a luxury wedding dress with no rental fees.
So, it looks like Bobrisky’s misfortune may prove to be someone’s blessings but only because Bobrisky is changing the narrative to positive outcomes. More power to her.
