This week, we have a number of celebrities sharing family news reinforcing the place of the family the as the building blocks of societies. There is also the usual birthday shout out, wedding anniversaries and an emotional tribute to late Chief Matthew Ukey by daughter Omoni Oboli. There’s even a guessing game featured this week. We also made an exception to feature a non-Nigerian celebrity post by Lupita Nyong’o, an Oscar-winning Mexican-Kenyan actress.
1. Faith Irabor’s bundle of joy
This week’s first favourite is the photograph shared by Faith Irabor following the birth of her son. The international journalist shared the good news with fans with the following caption: “Our Lil King has landed!

2. Peter Okoye’s lovely family photograph
Another family themed photograph we loved is that shared by Peter Okoye of Psquare. The photograph is of his wife Lola and their two adorable kids Cameron and Aliona. He wrote, “You guys gave me 1 reason to smile? When I have 1000 reasons to cry?????Miss u guys so much?.”
Now that’s making us go mushy.
3. Ibiere Julius Agwu wedding anniversary post
Famous comedian Julius Agwu marked nine years of wedded bliss on 31st May with wife Ibiere. The couple each took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion with their fans. Below is the message by Ibiere, “… and 9 years later. STILL STANDING.”

4. Omoni Oboli emotional tribute to father
The award-winning actress paid an emotional tribute to her father, Chief Matthew Ukey, who died early last month in an auto crash.
“Ever since I was a little girl, my daddy always made me feel special. He always told me how much he loved me and how proud he was of me.”
“You will look down from heaven in amazement! Your death will not slow me down, it will propel me to greater heights.”

A compelling painting with the moving caption of, “And then God created Man, and it was GOOD.” Credits for the photo and muse for the were attributed to the Instagram users @yannisdavy, and @josefadamu respectively. See for yourself why we think this portrait is a winner.
6. Susan Peters portraits collage.
The actress played a guessing game with fans, asking them to guess the year in which each picture portrait in the collage of four photographs. Apparently, the pictures were taken from 2014-2017.
7. Wale and his lovely kid at the Nickelodeon amusement park
The Nigerian-American showed his daddy side with a cute picture of his daughter nestled on his arms as they pose for a photograph with a mascot at the Nickelodeon amusement park. Both father and daughter were casually dressed for the outing.
8. Chacha Eke Faani wedding video snippets
The actress shared with fans a snippet of video of her wedding day on the occasion of her four-year wedding anniversary to hubby Austin Faani. We wish her very many more years of marital bliss.

9. Big Brother Naija 2017 winner Efe is a Youth Ambassador
It’s glory to glory for the rapper who recently was chosen as a Youth Ambassador. Looking very sharp in a well-tailored native attire “The base on logistic” coiner posted a message the below message on his Instagram page to acknowledge the honour.

Solomon Dalung for conferring on me the great honour of Youth Ambassador to our great country Nigeria…am truly grateful and elated.
