The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s newborn baby has been named Archie.
The new parents released a statement on their Instagram account on Wednesday where they revealed the name of their newborn as, “Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.”
The statement reads: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
“This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother were also present for this special occasion.”

In a photocall at St George’s Hall in Windsor Castle earlier today, Harry and Meghan presented the baby boy to the world for the first time.
The new parents appeared relaxed as Harry held the two-day-old boy. “I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy, ” Meghan had said during the photocall.
