Alex Unusual writes love letter to self

It’s the season of love and while a number of our celebrities are sharing the day with their loved ones, BBN’s Alex Asogwa, who is popularly known as Alex Unusual decided to take out time to crush on herself.

“Who better love you than you?” A rhetorical question? But sometimes people forget to do just that, brownie point for Alex on that one. In any case, the ex-reality star has a history of positive self-affirmation. No surprises there.

Alex posted a picture of herself and posted a really long letter to herself. Asides it being Valentine’s day, it was also a day to her birthday and her last day of being 23.

Read her letter to herself: “Baby, How are doing? I’m sorry I went to bed so late as tired last night without having a chit chat with you. Even if no one knows, you know I love you and will love you forever ???. You don’t know the joy I feel when I wake up to you every morning. I know you are not perfect but then, who is? Nobody and you are the most perfect of the imperfect. Nobody has touched my life like you have and you are irreplaceable. I can’t imagine my life without you.

“Those pillows fights? The movie nights ?, the silent moments of just staring at you?, the midnight walk under the moon?, the dance in the rain, the dress-up plays, the fights?, the beach strolls, the travels, the dreams we have together?, all of it, I’ll always want it. I’m so grateful that today being a day of love, I get to spend it with you. You are my strongest support system, you are my all. You’ve been through a lot but I watch you fight it, I cry with you on bad days and nights because you are never alone as long as I live. I rejoice with on happy days and nights because nothing lights up the world like your happiness.

“Today, I promise you, my lover, even if the world leaves, you’ll always have me. You deserve the best that there is and I’m more than lucky to be on this journey called life with you. Just as you’ve learnt, spread love, stand your grounds, never give up on you. Guard yourself jealously, never rush you, never place the key to your happiness in any hands as no one deserves it. Even the world doesn’t deserve your heart but you are here now. Use that heart to make a difference ……………. I kept an envelope on the bed, take yourself out, buy that thing you asked me for last night. I’ll be home in a bit to spoil you silly. One more thing, you see this smile, never lose it.
