The late actress body was received, last night, by her family and some friend at the Murtala Mohammed Airport ahead of her burial ceremony today (7th June) at the Ikoyi Cemetery. The actress died on the 17th of May 2017 from causes attributed to cardiac arrest. She had given birth two months prior to the sad event. She was aged 42.
Meanwhile, a memorial service was held in her honour at the Blue Roof, LTV 8, Ikeja.
Speaking at the event, her 18-year-old daughter, Adunoluwa Farombi said, “Mummy it still feels like a dream to me that you are no more, it still scares me that I’ll never see you again. I don’t know why this had to happen to you of all people but God knows best. Heaven couldn’t wait for a gem like you that’s why God took you so early.
Every time I think of you I always wonder where you are but I know I don’t have to worry because I know you are sitting next to God. You are irreplaceable. I will always love you with all my heart, Maryam loves you so much too. The world would never forget you, Mother. Rest in peace”
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
