Burna Boy took to his Instagram page to reveal that his hit single “On The Low” went Gold in France without promotion.
Nigerian Grammy-Award nominee singer couldn’t hide his excitement as he shared pictures of the Gold plaque he received for garnering 15 million streams in France.
Just a few weeks ago, the self-acclaimed African Giant and newly self-proclaimed best Nigerian musician since Fela, announced that another of his single, Own It, went Platinum in the UK.
Announcing the latest milestone, Burna Boy uploaded a photo of the Gold plague award event, which also has Mama Burna – Bose Ogulu – in attendance.
“‘On the low’ went Gold in France ?? without any radio push or promo. Love every single one of you that streamed it over 15m times, it’s still #FOOTONNECK202,” Burna writes on his Instagram page.
The singer posed with his mum as he was given the Gold Plaque.
