Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Erica, was disqualified from the show only a few days ago and since then, her fans have started a GoFundMe to donate $100,000 to the star, with almost $20,000 raised at the time of this writing.
In the 2019 season of the show, BBNaija housemate, Tacha was also disqualified from the show after a fight with Mercy and her fans stood solidly behind her.
Now, Blessing Okoro is saying that Nigerians should stop rewarding bad behaviour in disqualified housemates, thereby making it a faster way of cashing out through the show.
She shared a now-deleted post on her Instagram. She reposted a quote from Twitter which reads: “Before you know it now, disqualification will be a faster way of cashing out than even winning BBNaija, because the way we dey glorify bad behaviour is getting out of hand.”
She captioned the post: “Like I don’t understand this people called Nigerians. Bunch of confusing.”
