William Morris Endeavor agency has dropped actor Armie Hammer following several allegations of abuse against him. According to the New York Daily News, the agency is cutting all its ties with the actor.
The scandal had forced Hammer to leave the set of Liongate’s “Shotgun Wedding”, a coming film with Jennifer Lopez, and “The Offer”, a Paramount Plus series.
In a statement on leaving the “Shotgun Wedding” set, Armie Hammer explained; “I’m not responding to these (expletive) claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.”
At the time, he added that Lionsgate entertainment company was supporting him during the ordeal.
The allegations against Hammer began early this year with leaked messages attributed to the actor. Some of them appeared to show the actor expressing his desire to ‘mutilate and sexually dominate women’.

In an interview with Page Six, the actor’s ex-girlfriend Courtney Vucekovich also made some shocking revelation. She said that while they dated, he manipulated and abused her.
“He kind of captivates you and while being charming he’s grooming you for these things that are darker and heavier and consuming. When I say consuming, I mean mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, just everything,” Vucekovich said.
She had to undergo a PTSD and trauma hospitalisation program to deal with the hurt.
The actor’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers expressed shock as well at the allegations she was hearing about him; they share two children together.
“I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know. I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal,” Chambers said.
There is also a video of a scantily clad lady captioned “Miss Cayman” on Armie Hammer private Instagram account. The actor has since clarified that the woman is not the real Miss Cayman. However. this was not before Miss Cayman Islands Universe Committee got the Royal Cayman Island Police Service to caution him to avoid making Miss Cayman references on social media.
His lawyer Andrew Brettler denies the allegations that his client faces. He, instead, argues that it was intentionally aimed at tarnishing Hammer’s reputation. Brettler further emphasised that for any act with sexual partners, Armie Hammer always got consent.
The actor is well-known for his role in 2010 movie The Social Network and 2017’s Call Me by Your Name.
