Since the categories are not divided by gender, both of them beat some impressive competitors.

“WandaVision” was crowned the Best Show at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Meanwhile, “To All the Boys: Always and Forever” won Best Movie. For her role in “Coming 2 America”, Leslie Jones won Best Comedic Performance while Anthony Mackie beat Gal Gadot as best Hero.

Mackie and Sebastian Stan so impressed in their respective roles as Falcon and Winter Soldier that they were named Best Duo. Regé-Jean Page was rightfully picked as the winner of the Best Breakthrough Performance after “Bridgerton” launched him to international fame. He and co-star Phoebe Dynevor were also in the running for the Best Kiss award but it went to Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline from “Outer Banks”. If you are wondering why they won the award, watch the scene below:

A more competitive category was the Best Fight which Wanda vs. Agatha won for the “WandaVision” TV series. There were other tough contestants vying for this award. The Final Fight vs. Steppenwolf from “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” and the Finale House Fight in “Cobra Kai” were some of our favourites, but they didn’t win.

The Best Villian award went to Kathryn Hahn (again from “WandaVision”) while Victoria Pedretti delivered the Most Frightened Performance in a film or TV series of the last couple of years. We will bring you the updates when the Unscripted Awards are announced later today.

For now, “WandaVision” leads with four wins and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” has two; given Marvel Studios six wins in total and none coming from its films.
