What initially began as a wish for Davido is now a reality that will be coming to past early in the new year.
On Saturday, May 26, 2018, Wizkid made history with his sold out performance at the AfroRepublik concert which held at the 20,000 capacity 02 arena, and following the landmark achievement, Davido had stated that his next goal was to achieve the same feat.
This, he again restated, speaking to Pulse in an exclusive interview during the recently held BET Awards, then earlier in the month, he had announced the dates for his concert scheduled to hold at the O2 Arena.
On Monday, July 16, the official handle of the event venue posted a tweet confirming his performance date and details surrounding the ticket sales.
The tweet elicited a response from the excited DMW boss, who immediately took to his twitter page and posted “I cover this tweet with the blood of Jesus.”
