It has been over three years now since Drake last released a full-length album and his promised 2021 piece, “Certified Lover Boy”, would drop before the end of summer, he says.
Fans have had to wait three long hard years since his last album, “Scorpion”, dropped back in 2018 and the artist of the decade, according to Billboard, has reassured his fans his forthcoming body of work is due out soon.
He confirmed this during an interview at the Ultimate Rap League’s N.O.M.E. XI battle rap event.

He was asked about the release date to the “Certified Lover Boy” album and he laughed it off while only revealing it would be out before the end of summer, without a specific date announced yet.
Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album would be his sixth and it was originally billed for release back in January before it was postponed to a later date.
Earlier this year, Drake pacified fans with a three-song EP, “Scary Hours 2“, as his album had to delayed and fans couldn’t be happier with the offer.
Likely, the delay means more work is going into its making and “Certified Lover Boy” will be worth the long wait.
