Denver Nuggets wins against Utah Jazz
The Denver Nuggets keep hope alive after a 119-107 win over the Jazz in Game 6 on Sunday night, to force one last shot at the semi-finals heading into Game 7.
The Nuggets had lost three straight games and gone down 3-1 to the Utah Jazz in their first-round series. However, they’ve now leveled the series after winning two straight games to tie the series at 3-3 and force Game 7. They came back from an early double-digit deficit to take Game 6 on Sunday night, 119-107.
Jamal Murray stood tall again for the Nuggets, finishing with 50 points, five rebounds, and six assists for his third straight game with at least 40 points.

He becomes the first player to pull that off in the playoffs since Allen Iverson in 2001.
Nikola Jokic put in 20 points and nine assists, while Jerami Grant hit four 3-pointers en route to chipping in 18 points.
As for Utah, they were led again by the valiant efforts of Donovan Mitchell, who had another big game himself, going for 44 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
He, however, didn’t get much help, as Mike Conley was the only other Utah player to score more than 20 points.
Now, they’ll have to regroup and get ready for Game 7.

Kawhi Leonard stars in Game 6 as the Clippers quashed the Mavericks to advance to the Western Conference semis
The Los Angeles Clippers have advanced to the second round of the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2015. After a more difficult matchup than they might had expected, they finally put the Dallas Mavericks to the sword on Sunday, winning Game 6 111-97 to take the series, 4-2. They can now rest while they await the winner of the Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz series.
Marcus Morris was blowing hot early in the game for the Clippers but was ejected in the first quarter for a Flagrant 2 foul on Luka Doncic, putting in nine early points.

The Clippers, however, didn’t really miss him the rest of the way as Kawhi Leonard turned in another dominant playoff performance dropping 33 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists on 14 of 23 from the field.
Paul George added 15 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists for a near triple-double.
The Mavericks were undone once again as all responsibility fell onto the shoulders of Luka Doncic due to the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, who was out again for a knee injury. He certainly did his part, going for 38 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, but just didn’t get enough help. Dallas shot just 11 of 37 from downtown, and Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dorian Finney-Smith were the only other double-digit scorers.
