The NCDC, who share nightly updates of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria on their verified Twitter account, confirmed that the cases have gone up by 503.
The NCDC shared on Tuesday, 7 July that this increase of 503 has taken the total number of infections in the country up to 29,879.
So far, 12,108 people have been successfully treated and discharged from the isolation centres. Tragically, 669 people have succumbed to the disease including former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Dan Foster, Abba Kyari, and so many others.

“29,879 confirmed 12,108 discharged 669 deaths.”
Lagos has recorded the highest number of cases with 11,520 cases while Abuja, Edo, Oyo, and Delta follow with a few thousand cases.
