COVID-19, caused by Coronavirus has continued to spread in the country since it was first confirmed in February 2020. Since then, the NCDC is reporting that a total of 48770 cases have been confirmed in the country.
According to the latest nightly update which was shared on NCDC’s Twitter account on 15 August, an additional 325 new cases of COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the country.
87 new cases were confirmed in Lagos, 49 in Abuja, 28 in Gombe, and so forth in many other states in Nigeria. What is most noticeable from the progression of the cases is the fact that the numbers are decreasing.
