These updates, which are released on NCDC’s official Twitter account provide trusted and accurate insight for Nigerians to monitor the rate of Coronavirus in the country.
The new cases recorded in the last day reduced in comparison to the previous day, mostly because the new cases recorded in Plateau State dropped a lot.
According to the new report, FCT recorded the highest number of new cases with 40 new cases. This is closely followed by Laos State with 34 new cases.
After this is Plateau State with 26 new cases and Enugu State with 14 new cases. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 55,632.
In addition to that, 43,610 people have been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres. Unfortunately, the number of deaths increased to 1,070 as more people died from Coronavirus related illnesses.
