The reports are shared daily on NCDC’s official Twitter account and provide Nigerians with an accurate way to track the Coronavirus within the country.
This is particularly important as Lagos State is preparing to reopen the State after the Commissioner of Health, Akin Abayomi said that the cases are now declining.
According to the report, 138 new cases were confirmed in Nigeria. Of these 138, 55 were confirmed in Plateau State, 15 were confirmed in Lagos State, and 11 were confirmed in Ebonyi and Oyo State.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 53,865 new cases, 41,513 people have been successfully treated and discharged from the isolation centres. 1,013 people have unfortunately succumbed to the virus.
